How we work
We’ll install tiny sensors and smart plugs connected to a hub in your home and we’ll programme our system so that if anything unusual happens, it will send an instant message to your chosen recipients via their smartphone devices.
We’ll set up a dashboard that’s completely unique to you so that others can check, for example, whether you’ve got up in the morning, or gone to the bathroom, or left your home. It can even send a reminder to switch off your cooker or shut a window – and so much more.

Who’s it for
SweetTree Connect is perfect for people who have just returned home from hospital or are home alone, whether you’re elderly or have learning disabilities or other special needs.
All you need to do is pay a monthly subscription fee. It’s a lot cheaper than paying for someone to go into residential care or a nursing home – and it’s a very small price for giving everybody peace of mind.
The best bit with our system is that you get speak to a real person who can help you with your needs!

The SweetTree Connect system can remind you to:

• Turn off the tap if you’ve left it running
• Switch off the cooker if you’ve forgotten

How it all began
SweetTree Connect was developed by the team behind SweetTree Home Care Services, pictured here with their Wheaten Terrier who’s the inspiration behind Charlie, our cute and cuddly mascot at SweetTree Connect.
SweetTree was co-founded by Managing Director Barry Sweetbaum and Chief Executive Nicki Bones in 2002. The company, which is rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, has used its extensive experience of providing home care to design SweetTree Connect, with the technical skills of Director and CTO Ed Hagerty.
